 Our student's activities....
Vermicompost in our school
In our school ( S.M.R.V.H.S.S.)we produce vermicompost. Students collected fallen leaves and put them in a tank. They spray water regularly in it. After three months the leaves become very tiny particles. Then they put them in another tank and put some vermiworms in it.Then they pour cowdung water in it and spray little water. After a few days we got vermicompost.

Eventhough we put the manure to all the plants in our school,we had remain a lot of vermicompost manure. So our sudents were decided to sell the remaining manure at school. We asked permission to our school secretary and he permitted them to sell.

Our students packed it 250gm packets and sold them for Rs.5 /per pack. Our school secretary bought the first packet. Many teachers and students  bought the manure with interest. We sold more than 100 packets yet today and handedover the amount to our school administration.

Our school administration appreciated our student's effort on waste management  .
