Onam celebration at our school

We have celebrated onam festival in our school .Our school Interact club conducted a rangoli competition.many students participated in it. The Interact club organizer Mrs.Prbha Rajam organized the function very well...Here you can see the photos...

Social Service of our Students

Cancer Aid Society asked donations from our school students. My class students donated for this. The cancer Aid Society issued certificates , awards, Medals and Cups for their kind effort. Here you can view the students who donated for the cancer patients....

Every Monday our school pupils are assembled in our ground. They give many programs like Thirukkural meaning, Environmental awareness talk, Health tips, Pledge , Flag song, and National Anthem..etc.I post some of the programs for you........

My Classroom

I use my laptop to teach the lesson Maratha's Empire. I tell the story of Shivaji (The great Maratha King) using my Laptop. Students enjoy the story very much when i use technology to tell the story and explain the situation.
Students can understand the story easily by the usage of technology..

Today Vinayagar Chathurthi Holidy. I have trained PG(Science) teachers how to use technology in education.I had collected some digital lessons for 12 th standard students from net and distributed some educational cds to them for their teaching purpose.All the teachers promised that they will use technology in their teaching.

Who is a Paryavaran Mitra?

A Paryavaran Mitra student demonstrates environmental leadership qualities through positive change in behaviour and action at individual, school, family and community levels. Thus every Paryavaran Mitra student becomes a change agent for sustainability.

The Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF)

The Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) is the nodal agency in the administrative structure of the Central Government for the planning, promotion, co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of India's environmental and forestry policies and programmes.
The National Green Corps (NGC) started in 2001 is a nationwide programme of MoEF for environmental action through Eco- clubs. Each district in India has up to 250 schools which receive financial and technical support as part of the programme. 30-50 students are a members of each Eco - club. At present there are about 90000 Eco- clubs working across the states.

The programme is facilitated by 43 agencies/organizations across the country. Each state has a nodal and resource agency that implements and provides technical support for capacity building and development of material.

How can a school join the Paryavaran Mitra Programme?

  1. Schools part of the National Green Corps (NGC) programme will be enrolled in the project by default through the designated Nodal Agency.
  1.  Groups of schools/networks of schools can join the programme by contacting Paryavaran Mitra Secretariat at the address mentioned below.  
A formal agreement would have to be made between the school/groups of schools and CEE state office for joining the programme.
  1. Individual schools can join the programme by filing in the enrolment form . A school can also write to us with the details for the enrolment at:
