Teaching is my passion. My ambition was to become an active, innovative teacher who is loved by all the students. I believe there should be a friendly relationship among teachers and their students. In addition to academic subject areas, 21st century interdisciplinary themes like Global Awareness , Financial, Economic, Business and Entrepreneurial Literacy, Health Literacy and Environmental Literacy are equally important in promoting understanding of academic content at much higher levels. So  I engage my students in Project Based Learning (PBL) which helps to enhance the 21st century skills like Critical thinking, Problem solving, Communication, Collaboration, Global Awareness, Information sharing, Creativity and innovation and also 21st century interdisciplinary themes among them.
I guide my students in their project works and presentation. They have won many state awards for their projects.

My works other than teaching:
1.      I had been served as a guide captain for 3 years (2005-2007) in our school and trained many students to get Rajyapurashkar award and Rashtrapathy award.
2.      I had been served as a national green corp co-ordinator for 6 years(2007-2012) in our school and trained my students to give awareness to the public through conducting rallies, issuing phamlets and participating radio programs on global issues like Global warming and its impacts and waste management.
3.      I have been served as a mentor teacher in training on Information Communication and Technology (How to do project works, How to create animations and upload in net, How to create blogs..etc )    More than 240 teachers and BRTEs  (Block Resource Teacher Educators) in our district benefited by this.
4.       I have delivered speech on World Water Day and World Ozone day to give awareness to the public through All India Radio.
5.      I have created many digital lessons for my teaching purpose and uploaded them in my blogs to share them around the world. One of my animations on “Process Of Digestion” was selected by Microsoft and I received a National award for that.
6.      I have designed duplicate electronic voting machine and seismograph which are working models to make my teaching very effective and interesting.

2.      I wish to create many digital lessons and animations in bilingual language.(Tamil& English)which are not available in internet. I started this work and uploaded some lessons in my blog.(www. Myschooldiary2012.blogspot.com)
3.      I wish to change the slow learners into active learners by using animation and by giving some digital activities. Because I have experienced that using technology in education enhances a student’s interest and retention power manifolds.
